1. What the service is

The AI endpoint relays your requests to third party model providers and returns their responses. We choose which models are offered, set the rupee prices, and bill your DormHost balance for what each request costs. We do not train models and we do not alter what the model returns.

2. Acceptable use

Everything in the acceptable use policy applies to AI requests. In addition:

• You may not use the endpoint to generate content that is illegal in India or in the place you use it from.
• The upstream provider's own usage policies apply to what flows through, because your requests are served under our account with them.
• We may suspend or revoke keys, without notice, if their traffic puts the service or our standing with a provider at risk.

3. Your content and privacy

Prompts and outputs are relayed to the upstream provider to serve each request; their processing of that content is governed by their terms. DormHost stores metadata about each request: the model, token counts, image counts, cost and timestamps. We do not store the content of prompts or outputs.

4. Billing

• Prepaid only. Requests are refused when your balance cannot cover the request's worst case, so AI use can never take your balance below zero.
• Free trial credit does not cover AI. A paid top-up is required.
• Each request is billed from the provider's reported cost for that request, converted at our daily rate. Prices move when provider prices or the exchange rate move.
• Small charges accumulate and are taken from your balance once a day, as a single line in your wallet history.
• A request that fails is not billed.

5. Service and liability

• The endpoint is provided as is, with no uptime guarantee. Upstream providers fail, rate limit and withdraw models on their own schedule, and we cannot remedy their outages.
• Model output is generated by a machine and can be wrong, biased or unsafe. It is your responsibility to verify it before relying on it. Nothing the endpoint returns is advice.
• Our total liability for anything arising from the AI endpoint is capped at the amount you paid for AI usage in the three months before the claim.
• We may change the model list, the prices and these terms. Material changes are announced on this page with a new effective date.

6. Grievances

Complaints about the AI service follow the grievance process in the terms and conditions: write to [email protected], we acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days.
